Carl Jung
Hello, I’m Radhika. I believe it is one of life’s greatest privileges to become who you truly are. My own journey, shaped by lived experience of neurodiversity and complex trauma, taught me that it takes courage, commitment and the right support to heal, learn, grow; to live an authentic and meaningful life. This process also inspired my career; supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, and families.
I am currently a trainee psychotherapist in supervised clinical practice, working towards UKCP registration and completing the qualifications and training requirements of the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practitioner Professional Development Programme at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge.
My earlier studies include an MSc in Developmental Psychology from UCL’s Institute of Education, where my research for the Centre for Research in Autism Education focused on autistic children’s school experiences, sensory processing and eating disorders. I also completed pre-doctoral postgraduate studies in Existential Psychotherapy and Humanistic Counselling at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling.
My professional experience spans educational consulting, management, cognitive, academic and developmental assessment, family welfare and support, neurodiversity and mental health advocacy. I’ve worked in schools, charities, nonprofit organisations, family centres, justice services, mental health and social care. My personal, academic and professional interests have given me a deep understanding and empathy for children and families impacted by developmental, relational, historic, environmental and systemic factors.
I aim to offer a safe, inclusive, creative and collaborative therapeutic experience where children, young people, and families can explore challenges, express themselves, and work towards positive change. It is a privilege to witness healing and growth in others and this is the reason I do this work and why I love this work.
